Josh Fogg graduated from Vermont Technical
College in 1998 with an Associates degree in Architectural and Building
Engineering Technology. He then moved on to a more design oriented education
at Roger Williams University. During his studies, Josh worked for New
England Woodworking, a local, high-end woodworking firm as a cabinetry
engineer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2003,
he went to work for Foster Associates as an intern architect. Here he
learned the many technical aspects of designing and detailing a home
as well as acquiring an affinity for the modernization of the local
vernacular style. He contributed to award winning designs featured in
Rhode Island Monthly. Sixteen on Center was in its early stages of inception
when Josh left Foster Associates, allowing him to play a more active
role in its development. Through the company's evolution Josh has assumed
the main role of lead designer, but also has strong contributions to
estimating, project management, and bookkeeping. Josh is a registered
contractor in Rhode Island and is currently pursuing a Construction
Supervisor License and a Home Improvement Contractor License in Massachusetts.
